Andrea has had the unique experience of working at the federal, state and local levels, as an Assistant United States Attorney, Chief Counsel to the Governor of Maryland, and an Associate County Attorney for Prince George’s County. Before starting her own firm, Andrea was of counsel at a large Baltimore law firm, Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, for over five years.

Over the years Andrea has developed a strong regulatory and administrative law practice. The success of her practice is based on problem solving and navigating the complex system of laws and regulations to the client’s advantage without unnecessary confrontation. Andrea will not back down from a fight if necessary to protect the client, but she will not engage in unnecessary conflicts to the legal and economic detriment of those that she is representing. Andrea draws on her experience as a former classical concert pianist for endurance, creativity and attention to detail.

Andrea was named among Maryland’s top 40 Legal Elite in 2005 and 2006, and was named by Superlawyers Magazine as one of the top attorneys in Maryland and the Washington D.C. area for 2006, 2007, and 2008. She was also awarded one of The Daily Record’s Top 100 Women in Maryland in 2005 and again in 2007.
